Although Pucklechurch may be more well-known for its annual beer festival and Her Majesty’s ‘hotel’, it has supported an enthusiastic ladies’ hockey team since 1974, when Dyrham and Hinton club (founded in 1967) changed their name to reflect that they were playing in the village. In the absence of an artificial pitch in Winterbourne itself, the team now calls Winterbourne International Academy home.
Currently fielding one team in the WCWHL Berkeley 1 Division, we always welcome new members, both experienced and youngsters alike!

Hi what days do you train on and times, also what days are your matches and times, I have two children and looking for a new sport currently a rugby player so will need to run along side that.

Hi Kelly-Anne, we train on Mondays 8-9pm throughout the Winter (Sept to March). Matches are on a Saturday 10:10 (35 minutes each way) at the Winterbourne International Academy. Summer League starts in May and matches are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in Keynsham, starting anytime from 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. If still interested drop me an email on sophie175@hotmail.com.
